The Sustainable Food Initiative believes in a joint approach to transform the way we prepare ingredients and process foods. By working in FieldLabs we can get fast and thorough insights in subjects like reducing footprint, circulating food production, reducing waste in the chain and at the consumer and supporting consumers in making a healthy and sustainable choices.
FieldLabs are practical, hands-on trials environments in which companies and knowledge institutions purposefully develop, test and implement smart solutions for the future. They also form an environment in which people learn to apply these solutions. In addition, they strengthen links with research, education and policy on a specific theme. The FieldLabs work together with other FieldLabs and the LivingLab.
